Umbrage PROTOTYPE
A downloadable game for Windows
- A prototype for a 2D platformer, where you can propel yourself with the shotgun and glide with the umbrella canopy.
The prototype does not support saves, as it is meant to be completed in one session. From others' playtesting experience, it takes roughly 30 minutes to complete.
- Controls | (A mouse is highly recommended.)
Hit F11 or F4 to toggle full-screen.
Hit the escape key to open the settings menu.
Use WASD or IJKL to move.
Use the mouse to aim. You can toggle between 2 modes of aiming in the settings menu.
Left-click to shoot. While airborne, shooting will propel you in the opposite direction.
Right-click to deploy the canopy. You can glide by deploying the canopy above yourself.

Install instructions
To play the game, download the ZIP folder and extract it to whichever location you would like to store the game.
Once extracted, click the 'Umbrage.exe' file to run the game. If you get a pop-up saying that Windows protected your computer, you can click 'more info' and click 'run anyway' to run the game.

Perfect. My only problem that I think needs fixing is that I frequently find myself miss-clicking on my desktop, losing window focus mid-jump in windowed mode.
